What to send: PNG, JPG, PDF or AI at 300 dpi or higher. For a 58 mm magnet that is roughly 700 × 700 pixels as an absolute minimum; more is better. Bleed: the print wraps around the curved edge, so keep logos and text at least 5 mm inside the circle or the edge will clip them. Colour: send RGB or CMYK; we proof either. Very fine hairlines and text under 6 pt do not survive the wrap — keep it bold and simple. Photos: a phone photo is usually fine at 44 mm; at 58 mm a low-resolution image starts to show. If you are unsure, send it and we will tell you before you commit.

What Brands Actually Print on These

The magnets that get kept are rarely the ones that are purely an advertisement. A logo alone goes on the fridge for a week; something useful or likeable stays for years. A few patterns we see work in India:

• A QR code to reorder. Works well at 58 mm — keep it large, high contrast and well inside the safe area, and test the printed proof with a phone before approving the full run.

• Photographs. For gifting, event and school orders, a photo often outperforms any designed artwork — at 58 mm make sure the source image is sharp.

One practical note on sizes. 44 mm suits a logo, a short word or a simple icon, and is the better choice when it is going inside a parcel — it is lighter and takes less space. 58 mm gives you roughly 70% more printable area, which is what you want for photographs, QR codes, or anything with more than a few words. If you are buying for a stall or a gifting kit where the magnet is the item rather than an extra, 58 mm almost always reads better in the hand.

If you are ordering both sizes, send separate artwork for each. Scaling a 58 mm design down to 44 mm usually pushes text below the size that survives the edge wrap, and the result looks cramped rather than smaller.
